Background
The Nordic Museum is having an exhibition of fashion and women's rolls in the 50's. In addition to a classic exhibition in clothing and imagery displays, Nordic Museum also wanted to make a current comment about how we look at the 50's today and how it is reflected in today's society, newspapers, department stores, fashion, blogs and literature. Three women was chosen, each of which has its own relation to the 50's and its echo.
The Assignment
The brief was to film, create and edit a 9 minute interview film, including graphics, that reflect the three chosen women and their different relations to the 1950’s. The films are shown in the exhibition space and to introduce these films Nordic Museum was also in need of portraits of the three women:
